  • My 1994 e-150 has a major issue that I’m struggling to figure out. I’ve replaced the cap, rotor, PCM, Ignition Module, spark plugs, wires, radiator hoses and thermostat. HELP!

    The van stutters and stumbles at idle but worse under heavy load (high RPM, air conditioner on full, etc.) and seems to run a bit hot. My dashboard temp. gauge hasn’t worked in a year but the mechanics that performed the radiator maintenance said the system tested well and has no rust or leaks. My own inspection confirms this. I used to think there was an electrical cable that was arcing and causing the stuttering/bucking but now I’m not so sure. It seemed to start during a 200 mile road trip, just as we arrived at our destination. I’m sure whatever is wrong started from initial heat stress but the van never actually overheated. I’m going to change the fuel filter soon as I start to consider the fuel delivery/management system.

    I just thought i show you how to start an engine on its own.
    Couldnt find any Tutorials on Youtube of how to start up an engine.
    hope this video was helpful to those who may not have done this before.
